A New Sister!

Last night, we held a "Ladies Game Night," and had a total of 13 ladies. One of our students brought a friend, the only person we didn't already know, whose name is Kazumi. After the game, Cindy shared part of her testimony. After that, Kazumi talked with Cindy and the leader of the local church. Kazumi, it turns out, had been reading the Bible and had already known a lot about Christianity. She even said that she knew she was a sinner (a difficult thing for many Japanese to grasp the concept of) and believed that Jesus had died on the cross for her sins. When Cindy asked her if she knew where she was going when she died, Kazumi replied that she wasn't sure, because she hadn't prayed, but wanted to so much. Kazumi had been afraid to pray because she thought she had to confess all of her sins publicly. Cindy explained that only God needed to know all of them, and he already did. Kazumi prayed and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior last night. She left knowing that one day she would go to Heaven.
